Jane Hu is a partner at AllBright Law Offices in Shanghai. Her practice areas include corporate, mergers and acquisitions, real estate, construction, and dispute resolution.
Ms. Hu has focused on legal affairs in various commercial fields including mergers, acquisitions and reorganization, real estate investment, construction projects, securities and capital markets, intellectual property, litigation and arbitration. She has served as legal counsel for many well-known domestic and overseas enterprises, including banks and insurance companies. She has handled nearly one thousand projects and cases during her career.
Before joining AllBright, Ms. Hu taught law at Shanghai Jiao Tong University. She is currently a member of the Legal Issues Branch of Shanghai Federation of Industry and Commerce Residence Chamber of Commerce, a member of the Construction and Real Estate Law Research Committee and a member of the A and Reorganization Committee of Shanghai Bar Association.
Ms. Hu obtained her LL.B. and LL.M. from the East China University of Political Science and Law in 1988 and 2003, respectively.
Ms. Hu has published theLegal Guide for Foreign Investment in Real Estate (LiXin Accounting Publishing House). Ms. Hu also took part in the amendment and drafting of laws and regulations, such as the Urban Real Estate Administration Law and the Shanghai Municipal Provisions on the Demolition of Illegal Buildings.
Ms. Hu is a practicing lawyer in China. Her working language is Mandarin.
