Jordan Yang is a senior partner at AllBright Law Offices, also serving as the head of AllBright’s London office. His primary practice areas include cross-border investments, banking and finance, and commercial dispute resolution. He specializes in providing comprehensive legal services in the fields of aviation, infrastructure, biopharmaceuticals, and emerging technology industries. He is proficient in both Chinese and English as working languages.

In 2023, Jordan was recognized as a visionary leader in law by China Business Law Journal. In 2024, he was listed as a recommended lawyer in the field of overseas investment by LegalBand China Top Lawyers Ranking and as a recommended lawyer in the aviation finance sector by Chambers Global/Greater China. Jordan graduated from Northwestern University School of Law with a Master of Laws degree and simultaneously obtained a certificate in Business Administration from the Kellogg School of Management at Northwestern University. He is qualified as an independent director of listed companies and has received training in aircraft leasing and financing from authoritative aviation institutions such as the Irish Law Society and Airbus headquarters.

Jordan has authored dozens of articles in his practice areas and has played a significant role in milestone cases, particularly in investment projects and dispute resolution in Asia and Africa under the Belt and Road Initiative involving central enterprises and state-owned enterprises (SOEs). To date, the total value of cases and projects Jordan has handled for domestic and foreign clients and cross-border entities exceeds billions of US dollars.

Jordan's social responsibilities include serving as the chairman of Asiajuris International, a member of the Arbitration and Alternative Dispute Resolution Committee of the International Chamber of Commerce China (ICC China), one of the first batch of mediators of the International Center for Dispute Prevention and Resolution (ICDPASO), and one of the first batch of mediators of the Aviation Industry Dispute Mediation Center of the Aircraft Owners and Pilots Association of China (AOPA). He also serves as an external expert of the Innovation Industry Fund Investment Committee of Shijingshan District, Beijing, an external tutor at the School of Continuing Education, East China University of Political Science and Law, and a lecturer at the China Civil Aviation Management Cadre College, and he is included in the Beijing Foreign-related Lawyers Talent Pool.

For many years, Jordan has focused on providing legal services in the field of investment and financing, such as cross-border mergers and acquisitions, RMB or US dollar investments by private equity funds, market-oriented or non-performing asset debt-to-equity swaps, syndicated loans, project financing, domestic and foreign securities issuance, etc. He has led his team in handling many investment and financing transactions in new energy or infrastructure projects, including wind power, photovoltaics, hydropower, as well as domestic and foreign new city development, sewage treatment, port construction, and residential and commercial complex construction projects.

Jordan has served large investment institutions such as Capital Group, China Communications Construction, China Energy Construction, State Power Investment, ABC Financial Asset Investment, JAFCO Asia, CDH Investments, Long Hill Capital, Sands Capital, Korea Development Bank, Beijing Shijingshan Innovation Industry Fund, etc. Financial institutions served by Jordan include Export-Import Bank of China, Korea Development Bank, Mitsubishi UFJ Financial Group, Bank of China, CITIC Bank of China, China International Capital Corporation, China Cinda Asset Management, ICBC Leasing, among others. Listed companies served by Jordan in recent years include Air China Limited, Midea Group, Noblelift Intelligent Equipment, China Ruifeng New Energy Holdings Co., Ltd., Tibet Galaxy Technology Development Co., Ltd., Tibet 5100 Water Resources Holdings Co., Ltd., etc. Multinational firms served by Jordan include Maersk Container Industry Denmark, Carlsberg Asia, Siemens Gamesa, Metso and American Airlines. In addition, Jordan is very familiar with various legal issues in the aviation industry, such as domestic or cross-border financing, aircraft lease returns, maintenance, dismantling, airport construction, and management. He has acted as legal counsel for numerous domestic and foreign commercial banks, domestic and foreign airlines or leasing companies, etc., in various aircraft and aviation equipment financing and leasing projects, involving financing leases, operating leases, sale-leasebacks, leasing in China's bonded zones, French tax leasing structures, etc. Jordan has successively served as legal advisor to COMAC, American Airlines, Rolls-Royce Partnership Finance, Royal Aeronautical Society, Air China Limited, Joy Air Holdings Limited, China Avic Commercial Aircraft Engine Co., Ltd., AVIC International Leasing.
