AllBright Wins World Expo IPR Arbitrations for SAIC, GM
2014-04-295387Shanghai International Economic and Trade Arbitration Commission Rules in Favor of AllBright’s clients (SAIC and General Motors) in three arbitrations.
SAIC and GM claimed that their exhibition service vendor during the Shanghai World Expo 2010 had failed to transfer intellectual properties to them related to the exhibitions and performances during the World Expo as had been agreed in three contracts. The arbitration decision was that SAIC and GM should pay the remaining service fee only after the vendor had officially and legally transferred the intellectual properties in dispute to them in a reasonable period of time.
