AllBright Lawyers Win Second Prizes at the First Shanghai Lawyers’ Academic Competition
2014-05-194875AllBright partners Theresa Qiu, Amy Ye and associate Jiang Xiaolong won second prize at the First Shanghai Lawyer Academic Competition under the category of single-author and non-litigation legal document, respectively.

Ms. Qiu and Mr. Jiang collaborated on the prize-winning Due Diligence Report on Suzhou Electrical Apparatus Science Academy Co., Ltd. while Ms. Ye was selected for her essay, Conflict and Balance: Powers and Rights amid Land Expropriation.
Submissions were received beginning in May, 2012, and in total there were 57 works, 112 essays, and 15 research reports from lawyers, 38 defenses, 71 pleadings, and 28 non-litigation legal documents, including lawyers’ work reports, legal opinions and due diligence reports.
The selection committee was comprised of legal experts, academics, and leading lawyers in Shanghai. The committee selected the winners in a fair and open manner as all of the prize winners’ works were available for public viewing. The winning works will also be publicized by
