According to the Guidance, the energy electronics industry is an emerging industry, generated from the integration and innovation of electronic information technology and the need for new energy. This industry comprises solar photovoltaics, new energy storage batteries, etc.
The Guidance proposed that by 2025, the ecological system of energy electronic industry shall be established and the supply capacity of high-end products should be greatly improved; by 2030, the new information technologies, such as 5G/6G, advanced computing, artificial intelligence should be used in energy fields, and a number of Chinese world-leading enterprises will have been established in energy electronic industry then. The Guidance has also proposed a range of key matters that need to receive particular attention to help achieve the above goals, which include to promote the coordinated and integrated development of the industry chain, to develop advanced photovoltaic products, and to explore new energy batteries.
With the implementation of the above goals through supportive measures, such as carrying out worldwide cooperation, improving the market environment, the energy electronics industry is expected to become a key force to help the realization of carbon peak and carbon neutrality.
