In response to today’s complex global landscape, China reiterated its commitment to building a community with a shared future for mankind during the BFA. Also, China has further demonstrated its dedication to regional cooperation through the Belt and Road Initiative (BRI), which continues to offer development opportunities for participating countries. This year’s conference also emphasized cooperation in a changing world, and reached consensuses on five key areas as follows: upholding multilateralism, strengthening regional cooperation and promoting economic integration, advancing the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals, fostering innovation-driven growth, and advocating dialogue and exchanges to enhance understanding and trust.
Founded in 2001, the BFA has been committed to promoting regional economic integration and bringing Asian countries closer to their development goals. Looking ahead, the BFA is expected to shoulder even greater responsibility as a high-level platform for dialogue and cooperation.
