November 27, 2017, AllBright Law Offices signed a formal cooperation agreement with the Shanghai Administration of Sports about the research of “Chinese Sports Insurance rules, regulations, and policies”. The main research content is to summarize the status quo of Chinese sports insurance legal system, analyze the potential Chinese sports insurance market, introduce excellent foreign legal systems and draft legal provisions to develop the Chinese sports insurance system.

Leo Zheng, a partner at AllBright Law Offices, is the director of this research project. His team is responsible for accomplishing the research work. And the copyright of this research achievement will be shared with AllBright Law Offices and Shanghai Administration of Sports.

Recently, a series of policy documents, such as “Several Opinions of State Council on Developing Sports Industry and Promoting Sports Consumption”, “Guiding Opinions of General Office of the State Council on Developing Fitness and Recreation Sports Industry” and “The 13th Five-Year Plan on Developing Sports Industry” have been released to develop Chinese sports industry. However, for the sports insurance, the subdivision of sports industry, there are still many deficiencies in Chinese regulations and policies. In order to perfect the Chinese sports insurance legal system, this project will spare no effort to research and study the relevant legal regulations and policies to promote the development of Chinese sports industry.
