AllBright Lawyer Invited to Participate in the 2014 Australia Week in China Gala Luncheon
2014-04-183462Australia’s Minister for Trade and Investment Andrew Robb led Australia's largest ever trade mission to China on April 8 to 11. More than 700 representatives from 564 organizations participated in the program. The four-day mission was part of Australia Week in China, a government initiative to enhance Australia’s trade, investment, education and tourism engagement with China. Australian Prime Minister Tony Abbott, Bruce Billson, Minister for Small Business, Josh Frydenberg, Parliamentary Secretary to the Prime Minister, State Premiers and the ACT Chief Minister all participated in Australia Week in China.
As one of the key events of the program, a gala luncheon was held in Shanghai on April 11 in the Shanghai World Expo Center, where Abbott delivered a keynote speech on Sino-Australian ties.
AllBright partner Stone Shi, at the invitation of Australia’s Minister for Trade and Investment, participated in the gala luncheon. Mr. Shi won scholarship granted by the Australia-China Council and studied at the University of Sydney as visiting scholar in 2012. Mr. Shi is an Advisory Board Member of Larkin Group and acts as a veteran consultant for a number of Australian corporations, such as SILC, with his China knowledge and experience.
