AllBright Lawyers Attend the 2013 China Competition Policies and Law Annual Meeting & Competition Law Enforcement International Forum
2013-12-185532On December 12-13, 2013, the Competition Policy and Law Committee (the “Committee”) of the China Society for World Trade Organization Studies (the “CWTO") held its 2013 China Competition Policy and Law Annual Meeting and Competition Law Enforcement International Forum. The Committee successfully organized the 2012 China Competition Policy and Law Annual Meeting last year.
The conference was presided over by Yu Xiaosong, chairman of the Committee and former president of the China Council for the Promotion of International Trade. CWTO Chairman Sun Zhengyu delivered a speech at the opening ceremony of the event, which attracted anti-trust officials, experts and academics from the US, EU, South Korea, Japan and Canada and relevant regulators, entrepreneurs and lawyers in the sector from China. AllBright’s Beijing office partner Susan Guo was also invited to participate in the forum.
The forum revisited the major developments and updates in the competition practice area and experiences from home and abroad in 2013. Participants also discussed the new issues and challenges in implementing competition laws and mapped out a blueprint for relevant practices in the future.
