On March 12, 2013, AllBright Senior Partner Lawrence Zhu, Senior International Counsel Louis Meng and Partner Shen Cheng were invited to attend the Seminar on Strategic Transformation and Upgrading of the Apparel Industry, hosted by the Shanghai Apparel Trade Association. Mr. Shen delivered a keynote speech at the seminar. Professional service agencies, including PricewaterhouseCoopers, were also invited to attend the event.

The seminar, co-organized by the Shanghai Apparel Trade Association, PwC and AllBright, aimed to analyze the status quo of the apparel industry and market, seek new sustainable growth paths for the apparel industry, make full use of the change of the Asian capital markets and guide companies in this industry to cope with challenges through the industry’s upgrading and transformation.

Mr. Shen delivered a speech on Feasible Financing Methods for SMEs at the seminar and answered questions raised by the audience in a highly professional manner.

Prior to the seminar, Mr. Meng and the Shanghai Apparel Trade Association signed a letter of intent on strategic cooperation, whereby the association commissioned Mr. Meng to lead his team in providing the association and its members with legal services as a strategic partner.
