XU, Jim

Jim Xu is a partner at AllBright Law Offices in Suzhou. His practice areas include finance bond, corporate restructuring and listing, A, PEVC, FDI, corporate counsel and criminal and commercial litigation.

Mr. Xu has responsible for various bonds issuing such as corporate bond, urban construction investment bond, medium-term and short-term notes and private placement note etc. Particularly, Suzhou Hua Dong Coating Glass Co., Ltd issuing Small-Medium Enterprise (SME) Private Placement Bond, it is the first company in China to issue SME Private Placement Bond. Mr. Xu has intensive experience on SME IPO, listed on National Equities Exchange and Quotations, corporate merge and establishment of PE investment fund etc. Mr. Xu also served as perennial or specialized legal counsel for a number of large-scale enterprises such as Adidas (China), GCL-Poly Group, Shin Kong Mitsukoshi, ORIZA Holdings etc.

Further, Mr. Xu has working experience in a Suzhou local procuratorate department and practicing experience in a local law firm in Auckland New Zealand. Such background enriches Mr. Xu abundant practical experience in the criminal and commercial litigation fields and serving overseas clients.

Mr. Xu graduated from Soochow University with an associate International Economic Law degree. He obtained a Bachelor of Commerce Administration degree from Victoria University of Wellington New Zealand in 2003 and was awarded a LLM degree (Distinction) in International Banking and Finance from University College London in 2009.

Mr. Xu held P.R. China lawyer title since 1998 and admitted as a Barrister Solicitor of New Zealand in 2008 at Auckland High Court. His working languages are Mandarin and English.
